Al Bernameg Alaam
Al Bernameg Al Aam was launched in 1934 and broadcasts a general and political issues. It is owned by the State, and therefore managed by the National Media Authority. Its CEO, Nadia Mabrouk is the head of the National Egyptian Radio and was appointed in the position in 2015 by the Prime Minister. Although she reached the retirement age, the National Media Authority issued a decision extending her stay in her post for three months in July 2018, and then followed it by another extension for 3 months at the end of September 2018. Its Editor-in-chief, Hassan Madan is a longtime Al Bernameg Al Aam journalist who started his career at the radio in 1985. He became editor in chief in 2016.
