Nagham FM
Nagham FM radio station was established in 2015 and belongs to the Nile Radio Company under the managemed of the National Media Authority (link to profile). Nagham FM offers free entertainment content but there are programs addressing the public affairs. During the presidential elections in 2018, the radio directed its programs to promote participation in the presidential elections and monitor its developments.
The station is headed by Mohamed Nawar, who was appointed as the Chairman of the Nile Radio Company by the National Media Authority in 2018. Prior to this position, Nawar served as Vice President of the state-owned Egyptian Radio. He also served as a radio reporter in a number of ministries including the Ministry of Interior, and the Presidency. Nawar also served as a media advisor to the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. In June 2018, Wissam Wagdy became Nagham FM director of programs.
