Tarek Ismail

An Egyptian businessman, Tarek Ismail owns a number of media outlets, including El Radio 9090, Mobtada website, DMC channels, and Al Nas channel, in addition to D Media advertising agency. Ismail started his investments in the city of Alexandria and extended his activity to real estate and car trading. However, the MOM team could not confirm the fields in which Tarek Ismail invests as there is no official information about it.

The Chairman of D Media, it was reported that Ismail was dismissed from office in October 2018. But there is no official data from D Media regarding this matter. The independent website Mada Masr reported that the dismissal followed accusations made by General Abbas Kamel. Media reports mentioned that Ismail got state land in deals surrounded by accusations of corruption, using his relationship with Alaa Abu Zeid, a former director of military intelligence in the western region who was appointed governor of Marsa Matruh and was dismissed in 2018.
