Al Masry Establishment for Press, Printing and Publishing is an independent Egyptian media organization founded in 2003 by Salah Diab. It owns Al-Masry Al-Youm and its digital version www.almasryalyoum.com as well as its application. Al Masry Establishment ranks first in terms of distribution among the independent newspapers in the Egyptian market.
In 2009, it launched an English-language website “Egypt Independent” to provide news coverage and opinion articles in English about the most important events in Egypt.
Salah Diab’s son, Kamel Tawfik Diab, is Al Masry Establishment’s honorary chairman. Abdel Moneim Saied chairs its board, which includes a group of distinguished Egyptian businessmen.
