The Arab Center for Journalism
The Arab Center for Journalism is a media institution founded by journalist Abdel Rahim Ali after the events of 30 June 2013.
There is no official information on the sources of funding for the Arab Center for Journalism, which publishes Al Bawaba newspaper and Al Bawaba News website. But suspicions have been raised that Abdel Rahim Ali received funding from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to launch Al Bawaba newspaper and Al Bawaba News website.
The weekly Al Bawaba newspaper was first published on 30 June 2014, in celebration of the first anniversary of the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood. Al Bawaba quickly became a daily newspaper on 1 December 2014.
