El Fagr Portal
El Fagr Gate has the same editorial management as El Fagr weekly newspaper. It features general and breaking news. In 2007, its editor in chief, Adel Hamouda, was sentenced to one year in prison with three other editors in chiefs of private newspapers for insulting President Mubarak. The sentence was not enforced at the time and the Court of Appeals overturned the prison sentence in 2009 but it kept the fine imposed on him.
