Mega FM
Mega FM was founded in 2010 and is a state-onwed media that belongs to the Nile Radio Company managed by the National Media Authority (link to profile). Radio Mega FM provides free entertainment content as well as programs addressing the public affairs.
The station is headed by Mohamed Nawar, who was appointed as the Chairman of the Nile Radio Company by the National Media Authority in 2018. Prior to this position, Nawar served as Vice President of the state-owned Egyptian Radio. He also served as a radio reporter in a number of ministries including the Ministry of Interior, and the Presidency. Nawar also served as a media advisor to the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
In June 2018, Alaa Gaweesh was moved from Shabee FM to Mega FM Radio as director of its programs.
